Magic Sitcom

This was a project for my comics class. It started with the character designs, and then we had to move on to create an environment for them. I ended up making a sitcom type of story. The three main characters live in a fantasy version of New York, dealing with the struggles of learning how to become an adult but as a magical being! 

Environment Design

With the environment, I tried to keep it in the realm of an apartment you might see in New York, tying in simple magical elements such as the bookshelf with potions on it. 

Character Designs

I had the same approach to the character designs as the environment. I wanted them to be a person that you might see on the streets of the city in our world. I made an exception for Garb though. I wanted to incorporate a different kind of species, so I created a mushroom race!
